Your Song Can Only Be Used to Create Unnecessary Noise
Singer Alijoma Mabil has been involved in a beef with South Sudanese–Australia-based Singer Silver X. This feud started after Silver X stated that if he got back to Juba and the music scene, Singer Alijoma would only sign a contract to strictly sing for his community in his language.
This comment angered Singer Alijoma, who responded by telling Silver X that while he was a great musician years back, currently his songs can only create sound pollution for the people.
Simon Ongenge [Silver X] was a great musician during his prime time. But as for now, his music can only be used to create unnecessary noise," Alijoma responded to Silver X on Facebook.
The response didn't sit well with Silver X, leading him to reply to Alijoma, stating that his current latest 5 songs cannot be compared with the new songs of Alijoma because they only praise political figures, and business people, and focus on wedding themes. However, Silver X believes Alijoma is a real talented musician.
"We can count our latest 5 songs each, and you will find out that all your latest 5 songs will be praising some political thieves or business men/women, wedding songs (for individuals), and all are community-oriented. But one fact is you are a great talent," Silver X responded to Alijoma in Juba on Facebook.
This is not the first time Singer Alijoma has been involved
in a beef with fellow singers over being called a Wedding and Community Artist.
Last year, he engaged in a dispute with singer John Frog for referring to him
as a community and wedding singer.
